I really hope we don't have to worry about Jenny going with Mel from her Doctor's appointment. I'm gathering Mel overheard the comment about Jenny wanting to live with Gus. I hope the doctor caught the glare Mel threw her way.

Mel thinks Brian is the enemy... when she is her own worse enemy.

I'm a little confused about the David/ Michael POA thing. Just because David doesn't have his POA, does that not make him responsible for Michael's medical bills? As far as I know, the POA only has the right to sign Michael in for treatment. He's still Michael's ex... so shouldn't he still have the right to make decisions, like saying Jenny could have an evaluation?

Izzy seems like a hoot... and my type of people.

Mel better get used to the fact that she is just like Rita Montgomery... She's using her child to support herself... put a roof over her head... have money to live and survive. It might not be prostitution, but Jenny is still a bargaining chip to have free money given to her. She won't have - not ONE person - as a character witness, unless she can dig up someone we aren't aware of. And as I said in an earlier review... just let her try and bring up Brian in court... she will lose big time. And her lawyer said as much, too.

My big question - and the one the lady lawyer should be asking - is how is Mel intending to pay for her services? Lawyers are big bucks. I highly doubt the money she received is going to be adequate after paying for an apartment and food, and any other essentials she needs. Does she even have car insurance? If not, what happens if she's involved in an accident?

Michael... it started out with Mel saying: but now he was responsible for Michael’s hospitalization. I thought for sure I had forgotten something, so I had to look back. Only to realize it was maybe the psych doctor's fees? But, now it sounds like he really WILL be hospitalized. I doubt he will see the light of day ever again .... oh dear, how sad... NOT! I'm sure Dr. Banes was there to get Michael to talk openly. And probably better qualified in that field. But, I'm wondering what might have actually happened that night.

Did Michael slip Brian something in the drink he passed to him, so that Brian wasn't aware of what he was doing... or was Brian so out of it, that Michael crawled into his bed naked, and said they had sex? Because if Brian can't remember the deed... he was either roofied, or it never happened.

Michael is so stupid but that will play in protecting Jenny from him along with Brian and Justin cause we all know Michael is going to contact Brian and Justin then he will be out in the cold where he rightfully belongs.

Jenny needs to get know that her value isn't as pawn to be used for others selfish reasons but that she is a blessing to be cherished for just being here.

Michael sees Jenny and His as another way to Brian while Mel sees Jenny and His as her weapons to hurt Brian and everyone else who don't agree to her demands especially when she is wrong but refuses to admit to it.

Gus and Ian will be good for Jenny cause they will give her the Love and Discipline she needs to be the woman she wants to be not puppet Mel demand she be.

Thanks For the Update 😃

I love the way Brian explains about his walls and Justin's impact on his life.

Michael is as stupid as ever, signing without reading, then expecting to get money upfront!

Loving how Michael has once again shot himself in the foot.  Also the good news that it looks like Jenny will be staying with Gus and Ian.  It will be interesting to watch Jenny and Patrick being they are sort of siblings.

Ted wasted his breathe talking to Mel but he is right she is obsessed with Brian she doesn't want to be with him like Michael but she is obsessed with beating him despite the fact this has nothing to do with him.

Mel thinks of she beats Brian then her world will be perfect but it is a delusion just like Michael's because Brian isn't playing either her or Michael 's rules, Hell He Isn't Even Playing Their Game he never was.

Jenny hearing the conversation between Ted and Mel plus seeing Mel's reaction continues to solidify to her that Mel is using her as a pawn to hurt Gus, Deb and everyone to prove once again She Is Right and Brian Is Wrong.

She refuses to hear anything that goes against her edits and it will cost her dearly.

Jenny told the truth to the doctor who sees a very hurt little girl dealing with grown-up she isn't ready for and Mel's behavior shows that she is determined to have control even if it means Jenny must suffer continuously.

Maybe Ted's comments will matter to Mel, once she really think about what he said.

Poor Jenny, she has some more troubled days ahead of her, but her feedback will be taken into account and the way Mel is talking to her at the end will not go unnoticed.

I dearly love each new chapter in this story.  You don't white wash the problems and make us wish people were different.  You also make us wish for the next chapter as soon as possible because the story is so good.  I love to go back and read the other stories you've written because they are never the same.

Michael handed Brian a drink....did he spike that drink? Surprised no one said anything about that! Brian didn't remember the night....oh my. At first I thought he assumed they slept together, because naked and all. But now I'm wondering. Check footage if it goes that far back. Did Michael give Brian the date rape drug? I wonder if this is what truly happened... Excellent as always!

Melanie doesn't see she's a lost cause.  I wonder who her lawyer was talking to.  Maybe she knows more than she let on.  Michael just proved he's crazy and should be locked away.  Enjoying every word.

For one brief second Me realized she is making a mistake by using Jenny to support herself then just like that she tossed it aside because being right and having power over everyone is more important.

Especially if it means she can finally beat Brian because despite what she knows and that lawyer says she sees this as a battle between her Brian so Damn the consequences and the collateral damage to Gus and Jenny.

Who would be a good character witness for Mel?

Didn't she burn bridges at her old law firm when she left before or after she was made partner and while out on maternity leave? (Thinking about the show storyline)

Michael sounds crazy but he is just a spoilt child who wants everything his way Deb catered to that while Vic tried to stop it, that excuse that he didn't have a Father is just that, because even though Vic wasn't there every day he did his best to guide Michael. (Makes me wonder if he was hurt every time Deb said that in front of him?)

Brian walked into that room knowing that he is Really Done with Michael and that Michael was someone he should've left in high school the second he graduated.

They had nothing in common in high school and the years since hasn't improved that observation Michael will always see his life as the damsel waiting for the hero to save him and cater to his tantrums, while Brian sees Justin as his equal and the one who saved him from a life of mediocrity as Michael's favorite toy.

Michael threatened Justin so hopefully that means he should be committed Forever or jailed Forever.

I'm very happy that Lucas has finally realized what is important. David is a grown man, still wanting to depend on Daddy to fix his screw-ups, whereas Hank as a child, has taken steps to fix his life. I have no doubt he will succeed too, especially with his new 'family's' help.

I'm confused with Mel. She was already told she better use that money for Jenny, and she turns around saying she needs a place to live. But, just how long is back support going to provide a roof over her head? But, Gabriel will flay her in court, and all the support money will be lost to her, as it will revert to Gus for Jenny's wellbeing.

I'd love to see her try and bring Brian up in court... I can hear the judge now... Ms. Marcus, I thought we were here to discuss your daughter, what does Mr. Kinney have to do with this?... then when Mel starts her rant, the judge will rule her unfit to be a mother. I mean, how is it Brian's fault she lied, doctored documents, and lost her job? This could get very entertaining.

Should we be concerned for Ian's safety? Michael has seriously lost it! Justin had the magic words for cracking the veneer. Deal with it Mikey... Brian treated you like a trick! But, now that Michael has admitted it's an act...

They must have set everything in motion telling the guys in Woody's what to say.

Mel is worried Jenny will end up spoiled, so that's one of the reasons she wants custody? Let's not forget the gravy train her daughter is. Maybe she should offer to let Gus buy her. She would be wealthy then.

Michael has passed delusional if he thinks Brian will give a rat's ass if he can't remember the last twenty-one years. This could prove very entertaining. They should all stand in front of a mirror and ask Michael to identify them and ask him what the age lines, gray hairs, or receding hairlines are about. Stand Gus next to Brian, and ask Michel who that is. In other words, play with him, until ha actually goes crazy.

I'm so glad Lucas appears remorseful and wants a relationship with Hank. Poor David, what's he going to do, when Daddy doesn't help him out financially? He, Michael, and Mel can all live in the gutter.

Using Ted as Hank's accountant is VERY smart.

Who's Michael's POA? Debbie said, "It worked for Lindsay,"... yep, and she been in a psyche hospital for fourteen years. Michael's POA should sign him in, as he's not fit to make his own decisions. And Deb should have let him try and take the neighbors car. Arrest the mother, and throw the key away. Grand Theft Auto. But, oh my. Poor Jenny having to witness that and knowing it was fake. But, it will be interesting to see just how far Brian and Jennifer will go with this.

Poor David and Melanie. NOT! Gabriel got them both! And Melanie is a lawyer. She KNOWS you ALWAYS tell your attorney everything. As Harry said, 'egg on the face'.

Hank has a new family, one that will love him for himself. I'm surprised Grandpa Cameron was okay with his son being gay. If he's so worried about 'appearances'... what is he going to say to his son for embarrassing the family name?

Brian and Justin will make sure Hank is well looked after and that no matter what he will always have a family to help him when stumbles and falls, Hank is taking the steps to being the man that he can one day be proud of before he seeks others approval.

Lucas is realizing what actually matters in his life not in his world and perhaps one day he can look in the mirror and be proud of the man he sees staring back at him.

Getting away from the nest and finding better people will help him see that the world is a better place when you have true friends and family to share it with.

Leaving David to clean up his own mistakes is something he should've done years ago but he wasn't ready to grow up just yet, David, Michael and Mel are perfect for each other they are all selfish people who enjoy blaming others for their failures.

Wonder what Mel is going to do when she realizes she will never see one cent of that Money and that trying to tarnish Brian in court will pretty much guarantee no law firm will touch her and even The Big Q is above her pay grade.

Patrick makes it easy to talk to him because he has no ulterior motive than to just be a sounding board while you vent, his kind nature is a wonderful deterrent to someone who has been hurt before, cause he just wants everyone to be happy and if they can't be that right now then try for okay and move forward from there.

Patrick truly is a Unselfish Human Being.

Brian and Justin did Good😀

And by the time Justin finishes negotiating with Brian they will be Amazing!!😆if

Glad to see that Lucas is worried about his grandson and not the family name.  With Brian and Justin's help Hank will turn out ok.  Afterall he has Patrick on his side.  Love how Gus and Justin, not to mention Lucas, let Melanie have it.  Her and Dave are two of a kind.

It's great that Hank is coming out of his bad habits. His grandfather seems actually concerned and ready to be involved in his life and rehabilitation.

"Poor" Mel, unable to quit her fixation on Brian: she really doesn't see the big picture.

I love the way Justin is closing the unexpected deal.

The last sentence is disturbing: I hope Gus is not a new obsession for Michael.

What would happen if Gus went to see Lindsay during a bad day? Would it make her mood worse or will she see that Gus is an adult now and therefore she isn't in the past anymore?

Michael had some difficulties to keep his story straight.

Great job! Alex' POV is very interesting.

Is OLD an actual disorder or the result of your great imagination?

Author's Response:

OLD is an actual disorder with all the things Alex and Ian described.

Michael couldn't even even pull off insane right he ruined his cover pretty quickly and now Brian has been sucked in again to Michael's childish drama.

Alex is wasting his time with Michael it is just another excuse for why Michael refuses to see that Brian never loved him beyond friendship and even that didn't last.

Michael isn't crazy he is just a Selfish, Spiteful, Brat who feels  Brian is his property that everyone can admire but no one is allowed to touch without Michael's permission.

He wants to be envied by everyone on Liberty Avenue while he sits on his flat Ass reading comics and thinking he is in the same league as Brian or better.

Just Lock Michael Up Todd The Box In The Ocean and the Key In The Volcano or Vice Versa lol

I wonder if Deb really heard about the description of OLD cause her constantly calling Brian and her treatment of him to protect Michael sounds pretty Damn close too.

Gus wanting Lindsay to know that he loves her and her imperfections is a good thing it will help her see that she doesn't have to put on a act with anyone they accept her flaws and all.
